Affordable Housing Council

AHC Logo

The Affordable Housing Council serves as our political action committee and the decision-making body for candidate endorsements. The Council works to support candidates who understand the challenges facing housing and the construction industry and who are committed to expanding housing opportunities, encouraging responsible growth, and promoting a strong local economy.

Through candidate interviews, member participation, and voluntary contributions, the Affordable Housing Council evaluates candidates for public office and determines where KBA's political support can have the greatest impact. Contributions to the Council help KBA communicate with voters and support candidates who are willing to engage with the building industry and advance practical, effective housing policies.

KBA members are encouraged to participate in candidate interviews, contribute to the Affordable Housing Council, and help ensure that the housing and construction industry has a strong voice in local and state elections.
